Can't see Boston keeping them unless multiple injuries force a call-up, which in that case, I think the team will be OK with trying one or the other out.

It's all about development at this stage-- as good as both have looked, they aren't about to unseat anyone in the top-six, so the key thing is for them to go to Providence where they can play and play a lot. That won't happen for them in Boston.Kirk Luedekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07079201231943829805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6412386431911254107.post-9706311097028330312010-09-26T09:36:59.894-07:002010-09-26T09:36:59.894-07:00I saw most of the game last night, and Spooner is ...I saw most of the game last night, and Spooner is the young kid who really stood out the most. Tremendous wheels, and maybe the hockey sense to actually play faster than he already is. Also, though he is small, he certainly showed some willingness to play the body in the defensive end.

Different question - it seems like defensively the Bruins look set with the 6 vets and McQuaid. Alexandrov was just sent down, but Kampfer and Bartkowski have been 2 more camp surprises. Are they ticketed for Providence until someone gets hurt, or is at least one fo them looking good enough to force the Bruins to open up a spot in the top 6?Michael Byrneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10782499619253103724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6412386431911254107.post-77390072269429183562010-09-26T08:10:10.392-07:002010-09-26T08:10:10.392-07:00Kid has talent. But, two different players, two different styles. Hard to judge. I'm not in the least surprised by his performance.Dominichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17854437371332018215noreply@blogger.com
