Bruins have two picks in top-40

After Saturday night, we know two things:

Boston will pick either 9th and 40th (if Minnesota beats Dallas or gets to OT on Sunday)
or they pick 10th and 39th (if Minnesota loses in regulation)

That's not bad.

And of course, there's Tuesday night's lottery draw, but that dog won't hunt. Odds are so miniscule of any team outside the bottom five winning it.

Congratulations to University of Minnesota-Duluth, who won their first NCAA championship tonight, beating the University of Michigan in OT. Tough to see Matt Hunwick's little brother Shawn, the Wolverines netminder, give up the winner, but you have to be happy for the Bulldogs. We all know Brett Hull is dancing in the streets somewhere tonight.
