By now most of you have heard of a tragic incident that occurred yesterday involving 17-year-old Regina Pats defenseman Myles Bell, a 2011 draft eligible player with offensive potential.
Bell was involved in a one-car accident that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle. Bell was injured and evacuated to a hospital for treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition.
The Pats released a statement yesterday by team president/governor Brent Parker.
Bruins 2011 Draft Watch extends thoughts and prayers to all families involved. Our deepest sympathies go out to the deceased and her family as they grieve for their daughter.
Although there are updates on the situation here and here, we will refrain from speculating on anything pertaining to Bell's future until more is known.
