Coming this week

This week is going to be a content-laden one for Bruins 2011 Draft Watch, so be sure to check in frequently.

We're going to have Monday's Waffle Watch, which has not been looking so hot of late, but the Leafs playoff march was stalled on Saturday by the Chicago Blackhawks (that's a YouTube BushKorn reference for those who know what I'm talking about).

We'll also have player capsules/scouting reports from not only the NEPSIHA tourney, but EJHL and NCAA games we saw this weekend as well.

There's also going to be a lengthy feature on "the little guys"- key players under 6-feet. Last year, Ryan Spooner was on the list, so might we see the Bruins draft another small, but skilled forward at some point?

Finally, we'll have some "A Guy You Should Know" posts and some other housekeeping things to keep the interest high. As we roll into the stretch drive for the NHL season and the final regular season games in the CHL and NCAA, interest in the 2011 draft is only going to escalate. In about 38 days, we'll also know the early draft order, so things are clicking along.

Thanks for reading and be sure to tell your friends- the more the merrier.

Off to the Salem Icenter for the three championship games and then flying out immediately thereafter, so more later after we get back to homebase.

  1. I don't want to be a nagger, since I asked you about this a couple of weeks ago, but you havn't posted that mock draft (the one were you picked kale kessy at some point, if you remember) on the blog yet. As I mentioned before, I would just LOVE to see the hole mock draft. I would be really grateful if you could post it or something!

    cheers

  2. I'm going to get to the mock draft results, but have had more pressing news of immediacy to deal with in terms of my scouting trip and everything else.

Hang in there. Rather than just post the names, I want to do some analysis and explain the reasoning behind each pick, so it is a post that will take some time to put together.

    Hang in there...
