NHL Combine video: Goalies Gibson check in

John and Christopher Gibson aren't related, but they are brothers in arms when it comes to enduring the slings and arrows (and pucks) of hockey's most demanding position.

One's an American and one is from Finland.

The two share surnames and are considered to be the No. 1-2 goalies available in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

John Gibson secured his spot atop the food chain with an outstanding performance in Germany, named the Under-18 tournament's top netminder and playing with a great deal of poise and technical perfection.

Both have size, athleticism and the ability to make big stops when the game is on the line working in their favor. They're also likeable guys who don't seem to let the pressure get to them. Especially liked Christopher's reaction to the banter about his friend and fellow Finn Samu Perhonen.

Taking goalies high may or may not be en vogue this year, but the two Gibsons won't have long to wait in any case. They are the best in this group.
