As mentioned in the post, London is the most obvious (and best according to a source) option for Spooner. He and fellow Bruins second-rounder Jared Knight are friends and his offensive skills and creativity might be just the tonic to get Knight's season going in high gear.

Ryan Spooner trade watch
I won't replicate the work I'm doing for the New England Hockey Journal on this space, but just to clarify, Bruins prospect Ryan Spooner was in fact asked to leave the Peterborough Petes by GM Dave Reid Monday after the two met and Spooner requested a trade. Spooner was willing to stay on as long as it took, so he did not "quit" as some folks have been led to believe. That said, it is understandable that Reid would not want him around the team and coaching staff given that Spooner had made his feelings known and wanted to make the break.
